Jimmy Herter has been playing and singing with Steve since 1974 when they met and played together for the first time at a party. They both knew that they had something special together. The following day, they collaborated with a friend of Steve's, and that was the beginning of a long musical relationship! They put a band together, and before they knew it, they were playing gigs and working on their craft as song writers, singers and musicians. After moving to Phoenix, Arizona in 1975, they began touring the US before eventually settling in Los Angeles, California.
Jimmy Herter and Jimmy Caprio formed a group called "The Rockin' Jimmy's" and performed all types of venues with their original and cover material, among recording and writing with top producers in the L.A. area. They played and toured with many top musicians and artists such as Nicolette Larson (opening for Neil Young).
Jimmy Herter relocated back to his hometown in Chicago and has been performing solo, duo, and groups such as "The New Invaders", Peter Noone" from "Herman's Hermits", and "Electric Ave" and many others.
Since Steve has relocated back to Chicago, the two have played together at every opportunity possible! Their friendship adds a special quality to there performances that extends to the audience.
Their repertoire spans over 100's of songs, including many different styles of music from standards, 60's, classic rock, and contemporary.
Jimmy is also an accomplished piano player and has started playing "Dueling Piano gigs" with Steve. Their fun and interactive shows are a must see!
